Advantages of Hybrid Ceramic Bearings

Hybrid ceramic bearings may be relatively uncommon, and the main configuration of hybrid ceramic bearings is composed of inner and outer ring bearing steel/stainless steel+ceramic ball+PA66/stainless steel retainer+2RS/ZZ. Hybrid ceramic bearings have the following four advantages in use.
(1) High temperature resistance, low thermal expansion coefficient of ceramic balls, in high temperature environment will not cause the expansion of bearing balls because of temperature, which greatly improves the service temperature of the whole bearing. The temperature of ordinary bearings is about 160 degrees, and ceramic balls can reach more than 220 degrees.
(2) High rotational speed, ceramic ball has oil-free self-lubrication property, ceramic ball friction coefficient is small, so ceramic ball bearings have high rotational speed. Statistics show that the rotational speed of ceramic ball bearings is more than 1.5 times that of general bearings.
(3) Long service life, ceramic ball can not add any grease, that is to say, even if the grease dries out, the bearing can still operate, so as to avoid premature bearing damage caused by grease drying in ordinary bearings. According to our test and feedback from some customers, the service life of the bearing using ceramic ball is 2-3 times as long as that of ordinary bearings.
(4) Insulation. Bearings with ceramic balls can insulate the inner and outer rings of bearings. Because ceramic balls are insulators, ceramic balls can be used between the inner and outer rings of bearings to achieve the effect of insulation. Thus, bearings can be used in a conductive environment. This is also the greatest advantage of hybrid ceramic bearings.
